San Antonio, TX (Sports Network) - The Florida Panthers have signed an affiliation agreement with the San Antonio Rampage of the American Hockey League. Since 2005, the Rampage have served as the top affiliate for the Phoenix Coyotes. Meanwhile, the Panthers have had an affiliation agreement with the Rochester Americans. Chicago, IL (Sports Network) - The Chicago Blackhawks have traded right wing Tomas Kopecky to the Florida Panthers for a seventh round draft pick in either the 2012 or 2013 NHL Entry Draft. The pick is presently conditional to the Nashville Predators and if that pick is not available, Florida will transfer their own seventh round selection in the 2013 draft. Kopecky collected 63 points with 25 goals and 88 penalty minutes over two seasons with Chicago (155 games).
